Why Vinalpi?
VINALPI is the creation of a cross-border wine route between France and Italy. At the heart of our project, there is the promotion of the local territory and small producers - all while respecting the environment. We want to strengthen the role of culture and sustainable tourism in economic development, social inclusion and social innovation.
The project will thus develop wine tourism by encouraging tourists to visit vineyards and discover local wines by making stops in our partner cellars and “casine”. In addition, partner producers will be encouraged to adopt sustainable viticulture in order to preserve the environment and produce quality wines.
A project for Franco-Italian collaboration
Our partners have come together to meet a common challenge: that of promoting the wines produced in their respective regions. Indeed, the wines of the Liguria and South PACA region are often put aside while their cellars have a lot to offer. For this reason, we have combined the strengths of each of the partners to carry out our project. The Aosta Valley, the Province of Imperia, the Terres de Savoie association are full of riches just waiting to be discovered. The Côte d'Azur Regional Tourism Committee then accompanies them in all aspects of marketing and support in terms of communication and marketing.
